As a Virginia bridal hairstylist team, we often get asked many of these same questions, and we would love to help answer any questions you may have about bridal hair, the wedding morning, the process, or whatever bridal beauty questions may come up!
Absolutely! As long as the minimum booking is met and all changes are made 3 months before the wedding, changes are accepted.
No. All bridal hair trials are held at my studio in Locust Grove, VA.
However, on the wedding morning, We’ll travel to you so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your wedding hairstyling experience
Unfortunately, length and thickness does not determine or change the price. All contracted prices are firm.
For the highest quality and a relaxing morning, we allot 1 hour per mother, bridesmaid, guest. and 1.5-2 hours for the bride.
Unfortunately, we do not offer trials prior to booking. This is because we can't guarantee your date will still be available. I would hate for you to love your hair at the trial, which I'm confident you would, then not be able to have is style your hair for the wedding.
A good way to look at it:
Trials are to show you a preview of your bridal hair, not to test out your stylist.
We try to stick to first come first serve rule of thumb. We receive multiple requests for the same date & therefore can't hold any wedding bookings without a signed contract & deposit.
There is a minimum booking requirement of $1,100.
This is because we receive multiple inquiries for the same dates & we can only work 1 - 2 weddings per date.
Most dates fill 12-18 months in advance
As long as the minimum is met, we can still service smaller parties. Credit can also be used toward the minimum such as extension rental/purchase, & preview appointments for your ladies
Unfortunately, the minimum booking fee of $1000 would still apply. You may use hair extension rental. extension purchase, a second reception style, or preview appointments for your ladies as credit toward the minimum.
I may bring a second stylist for bride & party of 6+ to help speed up the morning.
40 miles round trip is included free of charge. Anything over is $.75 per mile every mile thereafter.
If location is over 2 hours from me, a hotel/air bnb is required for the night before the wedding.
If you want Hollywood waves, any half up/ half down styles, a woven boho braid, or a big voluminous updo, I usually recommend extensions. They add volume to the styles, whereas without them, the hair can look spindly at the ends.
I highly recommend Zala Extensions, Bellami & Luxy Hair. You typically will want 18-20 inches.
We do not offer wedding makeup. We are a Virginia wedding hairstyling specialists team. However, I can send you my top Virginia makeup artist recommendations so that you have the best in the industry for each field.
